We’re currently looking for a Salesforce Consultant to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for gathering client requirements, designing Salesforce solutions, configuring applications, and ensuring successful implementation through testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their business needs, collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions, and drive the successful transformation of their Salesforce environment. Your expertise will be key to optimising client processes, ensuring smooth integrations, and providing ongoing guidance to help clients achieve their business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Application Configuration & Testing: Configure Salesforce applications according to the solution design. Take responsibility for the configuration process, including unit testing, UAT support, deployment, and post-go-live hypercare support to ensure the solution is working optimally.

  • Requirements Gathering & Solution Design: Actively engage with clients to drive requirements gathering and solution design. Work closely with business stakeholders to align the Salesforce implementation with business goals and processes.

  • Adhere to Implementation Methodology: Follow and enforce the Shiftlogic.io Implementation Methodology (S.I.M.) to ensure structured, consistent, and efficient project delivery from start to finish.

  • Process Best Practices: Ensure adherence to process best practices, including regular check-ins, documentation, and status updates. Maintain high standards for project management and ensure all stakeholders are informed.

  • Environment Readiness & Org Strategy: Prepare Salesforce environments, ensuring proper setup of instances, sandboxes, and org strategies to support project goals and ensure smooth transitions during the implementation phase.

  • Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Effectively document solution designs, configurations, and any customizations made within the Salesforce platform. Lead knowledge transfer (KT) sessions with clients to ensure they can manage and optimize the solution post-implementation.

  • Collaboration & Issue Resolution: Work closely with Solution Architects and other consultants to complete the construction and build of the solution. Identify potential roadblocks early and collaborate with the wider Shiftlogic.io team and project managers to resolve issues efficiently.

  • Customer Engagement & Decision Guidance: Effectively communicate with clients at all levels, including C-suite, presenting solution designs and guiding clients on the right decisions, even when difficult conversations are required.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for a Salesforce Consultant with a strong combination of technical, functional, and soft skills. You will bring:

  • Salesforce Experience: Proven hands-on experience configuring and implementing Salesforce solutions (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, Billing, Revenue Cloud, etc.), with a strong understanding of application design and configuration.

  • Industry & Consultancy Experience: A background working with small to medium enterprises, as well as large enterprises. Experience providing consultancy services and understanding client requirements to deliver successful Salesforce solutions.

  • Revenue Cloud & System Integration: Experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud, as well as integration with upstream and downstream systems such as CRM, PLM, and ERP. Knowledge of how Salesforce fits into broader business processes is key.

  • Role Maturity & Project Delivery: 3-5  years of experience in a Salesforce consultant role. 

  • Salesforce Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce CPQ Specialist, Salesforce Billing Superset, and Salesforce Revenue Cloud Consultant, demonstrate your expertise and commitment to continuous learning.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present solution designs to clients clearly and confidently. Comfortable with presenting at the C-level and performing knowledge transfer to clients.

  • Leadership & Task Coordination: Ability to lead the build work within the team, coordinating tasks effectively to ensure timely delivery. Capable of handling challenging situations, including guiding clients to make informed decisions when necessary.

  • Collaboration & Problem-Solving: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, escalating issues when necessary and resolving challenges with a focus on the best outcome for the client and the project.
